Interscope / Geffen / A&M Records and many more under that umbrella are today’s cutting edge record labels. They required a state-of-the-art, multi-function production facility close to their main offices in Santa Monica, CA. A 1940s warehouse was re-configured to house a showcase theatre, lounges, kitchen, serving pantry etc., a 4000-square foot sound stage/rehearsal space, writing rooms, two full recording studios with SSL consoles and a wealth of vintage and current equipment. George Augspurger provided the main speakers, while Bill Dooley perfected the electronic interface between and within all the spaces.  http://www.interscopestudios.com
